 Captain Newman has been fishing in Alaska for over 16 years at a variety of locations and will tailor your trip to your specific desires.  Many people want to catch big fish and that is certainly fine however if a pod of whales go by some may want to take a closer look at the whales for awhile.  Alaska truly has some world class fishing but it also has some world class sight seeing and wildlife viewing and these may all be experienced on a single “fishing” trip.  The beauty of this trip is that with the small parties that we take everyone usually knows one another and they agree on what to do.  We simply try  to accomplish that safely.

I started Ebbtide Charters Inc. because of the need in Alaska for a small customized trip at an affordable price for families.  Too many times I have seen families come to Alaska and only Dad or “the boys” go out in the boat.  I would like to see the whole family in the boat for an unforgettable Alaskan experience.
